Suddenly without knowing how or why, she begins to have embarrassing after embarrassing situations occur that she has no control over.  The mishaps of growing up before you’re ready are humorously revealed by Lila in her diary in unusually funny situations.

In book one of this debut series, Lila is trying really hard to fit in with the popular crowd at her school.  Her best friend Anna left her to join the mean girls after a hilarious incident that happened at the pool a couple weeks earlier.  Lila makes new friends, but along her journey to be popular, things just never seem to go her way.
