Real or not

Elijah has always had issues with constantly zoning out. Just ask his dear sister Hannah or his childhood friend Lucas and they will tell you so. Just don't try to ask both of them at the same time because they will firmly deny the existence of the other, while marking it as a daydream of Elijah's. But Elijah swears that he isn't merely making up the existence of either person, even as he is slowly forgetting one of them. As his zoning out grows worse and both Hannah and Lucas try to hold his attention, will Elijah ever find out why they don't remember each other, despite both individuals being deeply important to him? Or, will he just zone out and forget this conversation and just go watch tv?
