Stray Faces

A painter accustomed to finding refuge in his canvases, Edmond chose, in the absence of treatment, to paint a portrait of himself on the day the disease was discovered, every year. He recorded every detail in a notebook. In this way, Edmond can only follow his slow fall into decay.
