Y/n became a demon slayer to kill her father. She knew he wasn't even a demon, but she can't forgive him for killing her sister in such a brutal way and abusing her basically her entire life. She just had a feeling that he was alive, and she wanted to see him die a more horrific death than her sister. But after barely defeating a demon, Y/n wakes up in the Butterfly Mansion in critical condition.
Though she has been here before, she meets the girl who saved her; Mitsuri Kanroji. Y/n has never met someone as bubbly and energetic as she was. But she appreciated her. She was like a warm ray of sun that soothed Y/n's scarred soul. As Mitsuri and Y/n become closer, their bond grows to be more than just friends.
