Though Stuart Hawkins and Rose have been together for years, their marriage has been falling apart. While on a nightly stroll with his friend Mike Reynolds, he tells him of this mysterious illegal service called Replico, a company that make a digital clone of yourself to take over your life temporarily. This gives Hawkins the opportunity to go on a trip to Las Vegas with Reynolds as a way to get away from Rose for a while. But when Hawkins come home, however, tragedy ensues...
