This is my story for the March 2016 Watt pad contest. None of the characters are mine, all of them can be found in the video game Undertale by Toby Fox. The cover photo is also not mine. King Asgore and queen Torial have fallen and the resistance army has taken over. Led by the the human child Frisk the future of the underground is bleak. In its moment of darkness a single ray of light stands against it. Chara and the remains of the free underground are determined to free their home from Frisk and the lieutenants leading his armies. The spear woman Undyne. The mad scientist Alphys and her amalgamates. Finally the skeleton duo and their army of bones stand against the free Underground. Not everyone is special enough to know exactly where the Underground's secret entrance is. Not everyone is so special as to accidentally fall into it, either. Of course, that is what the Reader did. Was this truly the last RESET? Sans wondered. But he knew only Frisk would tell, only this young girl would decide his future. He hated the thought of it at first, but hatred began to grow numb after he figured out he had no say in his own future. He had to admit though, Frisk was pretty reasonable, it was Chara who was the maniac. But she was gone now, so what was the anticipating, eerie, feeling that he had in his bones? The feeling that something wasn't right, of course, this timeline was already incredibly strange. The feeling sat in his in the pit of his stomach, tying itself into knots, until that fateful rainy day when all of his questions would be answered.
