King Asgore and queen Torial have fallen and the resistance army has taken over. Led by the the human child Frisk the future of the underground is bleak. In its moment of darkness a single ray of light stands against it. Chara and the remains of the free underground are determined to free their home from Frisk and the lieutenants leading his armies.
