Seventeen-year-old Rowan Thorne loves being outside, especially in the woods right next to his house. The Thundering Woods it's called. There have been myths of dragons that live in the woods, but Rowan doesn't believe them. Who can blame him? The creatures have been extinct for thousands of years. But when the forest is threatened, will he meet these mythical creatures face to face?

Brooke Shields has grown up in the Thundering Woods since she was three. She has lived with the group of dragons that live there and has even been able to talk to them. She was abandoned by her parents, but now she has dragons on her side. But what happens when their home is threatened?
