After the Wizarding  War, Hogwarts was left in shambles. it was easy to reconstruct damaged parts of hogwarts structure by means of magic, but there isn't a spell that can heal the internal wounds students and staff have suffered during the years. 
in order to motivate older students to continue their education to graduation and alleviate younger students fears, hogwarts has incorporated "art hour" a time of day where your class schedule allows you to attend a time to paint and color. instructed by Ezra caldas, a Hispanic 25 year old with a passion for the arts, he helps slowly bring hogwarts to near "normality" from the inside.
