Since man was created, all they have ever cared about is power and how much they are feared. Its like a safety blanket for a man, knowing they can look at some innocent soul in their eyes and those who were feared, would want to perish. It brings him comfort knowing he has that authority over something or someone who he doesn't even know. But how long will this act last for? What if the cycle finally breaks?

Thaleia Nicolaides is a young girl who is strong and realizes her abilities to eliminate her threats. Her family is known for the being the biggest Cypriot Mafia which her father, mother, and older brother control. Even though her mother has kept her and her younger siblings separate from the mafia world, she was still raised like she was apart of it. Because of her mothers protectiveness, Thaleia was able to have a normal childhood and teenhood in peace, however her adulthood had something else instore.

It wasnt until she was told she was to be owned to a man, whom she had never met before, within a blink of eye, because it was her fathers order. She was told "To do it for the family to keep the legacy going". Young Thaleia, whom had her own life planned out, was now, and only just now, being directed to the path she must follow.

Nonetheless, this path will lead Thaleia through danger, remorse, pain, betrayal and possibly love. Where she will meet the man who will change her prospect of life forever, she will slowly become his burden.
