Prologue
In the kingdom of Omare, phoenixes are hunted, for their meat was a delicacy. Their feathers were a rare find, smoother, and softer than most birds, which made them a high demand. Lowering their population to a small margin, so very small few know of their existence. Some nobles would keep phoenixes as pets, in a show of strength and power, for phoenixes were hard to catch. Others have tried to tame the elusive birds, but all attempts have failed.
