Basil, one day, finds a black notebook outside of his house. At first, he wonders who it belongs to, but after looking inside, he finds it untouched and empty, besides one dark page. First, he takes the notebook as a threat, what with the giant "DEATH NOTE" on the cover. Soon enough, though, he realizes he is the real threat.
