Settling down is not something men like Anthony Bridgerton did. He was what? Just nine and twenty years of age! He was young still, he had enough time to enjoy his youth before he settled down.

Then again, as Anthony's memories unwillingly reflected back to the season that had taken place, he shuddered and groaned in frustration. The role of the head of the house, along with his sisters debuting, had been so stressful, Anthony had lost all rational thought then. He frowned, maybe his mother was right. Maybe it was time he settle down. Marry and have children, produce an heir perhaps, maybe a Viscountess could help him manage the load of looking after the house and his family.

It was settled then, Anthony Bridgerton was to enter the marriage market with the intent of finding a suitable bride the coming season. No need to waste time on trivial matters either, he did not need a life partner or a love match after all. He was a rake through and through. He just needed a bride, also maybe someone with the understanding to not expect love from him.

But then he saw her in the crowd- how could he not? She was an absolute goddess among them mortals- and he found himself looking for her in every space, in every place; and so he thought that maybe, just maybe, a love match didn't sound like such a bad idea anymore. Follow Anthony Bridgerton as he navigates through love, desire and hardships, desperate for his happy ending. He deserved at least that much, right?
