[Xaden x Y/n] Love on the Parapet

Xaden and Y/n have been together since they grew up together in Tyrrendor, but they were separated for the first time when Xaden entered Basgiath War College first.

And today, it's conscription day.
Unlike the other candidates, Y/n L/n is reeling in pure dopamine, the excitement to see Xaden on the other side of the parapet overriding the anxiety of the task. However, their happiness is short-lived as Violet, who Y/n had only considered as a liability to the Fourth Wing bonds to Tairn the dragon. Much to her dismay, Tairn is Sgaeyl's mate, which connects Violet to Xaden. Perhaps even more closely than herself and Xaden.

Xaden's bond to Violet strains Xaden and Y/n's relationship while the gryphon attacks surge outside the Navarrean borders.
