When grave witch Elara Nowak inherits the Silver Spirit Inn from her great-aunt, she discovers it is a halfway house for restless spirits whose existence must be protected from evil sorcerers.

------------

Grave witch Elara Nowak misses the fast-paced lifestyle of Los Angeles. When the magazine she was an editor for abruptly closes, she finds herself back in her hometown of Andover, New Hampshire. Her days of boredom come to an abrupt end when she inherits a bed and breakfast from her great-aunt. The only problem is it's located on Martha's Vineyard.

An island. No doubt surrounded by sharks.

With no other job opportunities on the horizon, Elara packs up and heads for Massachusetts. Once there, she discovers the inn is not just a regular bed and breakfast -- at night, it turns into a halfway house for restless spirits. It's Elara's job to ease their suffering and guide them toward the light. Sounds easy, right? But being an innkeeper and therapist for wounded souls was not on Elara's bingo card. Adding to her stress is the inn's acerbic house ghost, who is bound to serve the witches of Elara's line for five hundred years.

If that wasn't enough, Elara must also protect the spirits from evil sorcerers who wish to use the ghosts' energy to fuel their dark intentions.

She'd rather take the sharks.

"Callahan has combined two very intriguing characters with a great storyline to create a fast-paced supernatural tale." (Kimber Leigh Wheaton) Paranormal investigator, Kaylyn is thrilled with the opportunity to investigate the Teague Hotel-a beautiful historic building at the heart of Chatham, Ohio-with a not-so-beautiful past. But the conditions of her investigation aren't so ideal... First, she screws up on what should be a simple "pick-up" when she's sent to the local historical society to retrieve an occult object with unknown powers. Then, her new boss threatens to fire her on the spot, potentially ending the career she's dreamed about and worked for her whole life. Unfortunately, even after he relents and gives her one final chance to prove her worth to the organization, things continue to go wrong. Terribly wrong. Unexplainable dreams and blackouts... Fires... Unrelenting attacks against her mind, body, and soul, that may or may not be real. If Kaylyn stands any chance of defeating the powerful force waiting for her in the hotel, she'll first have to convince everyone around her that the threat isn't only in her head. And-possibly the harder task-face up to the fact that she needs to ask for help. "The ending scenes had me on the edge of my seat, behind a cushion hugging my dog." Cas pushed open the door to Dean's bedroom and they stepped inside. He moved into the centre of the room, turning around to look back at Dean. "I forgot to buy you a birthday present." He said, his eyes twinkling with something that Dean had never seen before. Dean shrugged his shoulders, moving so close to Cas that he could smell the alcohol on his breath. "I don't suppose..." Cas tilted his head to the side a little as he spoke, his voice silky and smooth. "That I could do anything to make it up to you?" A smirk tickled at Dean's mouth as he looked down into Cas' eyes. "I'm sure I can think of something." Dean whispered, closing the gap between them. It all happened so fast. It wasn't supposed to happen, none of it. They were drunk, they were alone, and they were stupid. But nevertheless, it happened. And Dean had to live with the fact that he'd walked away from all of it, from what had made him truly happy: Cas. But now, 7 years later, he finds himself back at the same place where everything started... back at that cabin resort, the one where he met Cas for the first time. The place that started it all. Except... seeing Cas again isn't the only thing Dean has to worry about. Something is off with the cabin. He can't put his finger on it, but he's about to find out sooner or later.
