When Viggo finds himself going to Hiccup for help, he accidentally drags Hiccup into the same issue he fell into. Now with the two of them as Night Fury Half-Dragons, Viggo and Hiccup must try to find a way to hide their new dragonic side from the Dragon Riders and Berk while also having to deal with Ryker trying to kill Viggo and a mysterious figure trying to turn people into Half-Dragons. But when the two former enemies start seeing how similar their lives appeared to be, Hiccup starts to see Viggo in a different light. Will the feelings take flight, or will all remain in the dark of night?
[Inspired by both an AO3 fanfiction I read by the_chaotic_egg_called_lillith (Viggo Grimborn Lives AU) on AO3 and an AI chat I made where I roleplayed as Viggo on Character AI with a Hiccup Haddock character. Props to the_chaotic_egg_called_lillith on AO3 for the unexpected inspiration for this story and to LostDeadBoy on Character AI for the amazing Hiccup Haddock bot! I do not own the large majority of the characters that will/may show up in this book, all rights belong to their creators. All OCs are mine though. I also made the age gap between Viggo and Hiccup more like 10-12 years instead of a 20+ years age gap, stop raging at it for the Love of Thor.]

Complete!!! Hiccup was always a nuisance to the vikings on Berk. He was viewed as a runt, a shame, and a screw up. That all changed when he became the top of dragon training, and finally gets the chance everyone thought he only dreamed of. To kill a dragon in front of the entire village. Stoick was proud of his son, he had almost lost hope in him. Now, he proved everyone wrong, or so they thought. Hiccup wanted nothing more than to have this chance his entire life! However, that was before he met and bonded with Toothless, a night fury he had shot down weeks ago. Now, he wanted to escape, but not without attempting to convince the vikings that dragons weren't the real threat. He thought his monstrous nightmare match would be the perfect setting for such a feat. When things go sideways, when Toothless saves Hiccup, he has a choice, stay and try one last shot of convincing Berk, or flee with his best friend. He chooses the best option, he flees. Now, he is branded as a trator, a renegade. Stoick practically disowns him and he is never heard from again. five years later, Berk hears mighty tales of a grand hero who rides a night fury. Many call him 'Night Rider', 'Dragon Tamer', and 'Mysterious Rider'. Many doubted that this hero could be their traitorous ex heir to the Berkian leadership. After all, he was described as having a prosthetic leg, very tall, confident, and extremely buffed, while Hiccup was the opposite of all these descriptions. *This is a sequel. Sadly however, Wattpad has decided to take down the first one ( which is a reaction fanfic) because of copyright... And only decided to do this after about 1-2 years and the fic making it as #1 (Don't know how or why). It is now solely on AO3 (Archive of Our Own) along with this sequel... Sorry for any previous confusion and the inconvenience... Sequel to RTTE(Race to The Edge*On NETFLIX*) watches HTTYD(How to Train Your Dragon). (Previously) "And before anyone could even throw out a protest they disappeared in the same blinding light they came with." (Now) If one were looking at any of our previous Watchers they would find that the bright light never went out. One second the Watchers were in their places, the next they were on the floor groaning in pain. After all, Shadow did say that time was stopped, even though she didn't mention the hard landing. Maybe it was the fact all the Watchers jumped out of their seats, literally, that they fell flat on their faces. That wasn't mentioned before? Oh well, Shadow was simply in a rush to get everyone out before they themselves got mobbed. It should certainly be entertaining to see where our watchers go and what they do once they get off the floor and simply check the sky. (I do not own the HTTYD franchise.
