The well-renowned Danish engineer & astronaut Frederik Mogensen would finally have achieved his career's magnum opus, if not for a faulty rocket component causing a rapid unscheduled disassembly over the Atlantic ocean.
But this would not be the end of his story, as reincarnation turns out to be an actual thing & has revived him... with a catch.
Instead of waking up to a shark chewing on his socks, he wakes up as a girl in another world.
A world very similar to our own, yet very different.
Near future tech. Different history leading to different borders. Magic.
Along with the aftereffect of evading death & dying after she should've.

That would grant 1 wish for a price, she used it hoping that it would send them back before everything started.

Hans and Louise, his (fictional) step-sister, seek refuge from a summer storm in an old shed. There, they meet Rosalind, a lost Flower Fairy. When they decide to help her find the Butterfly Fairy boy she loves and intends to marry, she takes them into a fantastical world of Terra Sonalis, her home.
