Nothing ever really happens in Riverfield, the small, quiet, forest-surrounded town in the middle of Minnesota. Until the US government discovers multiple paranormal creatures calling the forest their home. And when sparky 10-year-old Lily meets one of them face to face, she faces off with violent cryptids, a determined agent, and the goddess of perfection who might have created humanity itself.
