Nathan has gotten used to pretending he's fine. At nineteen, his life is held together by late nights, too much work, and emotions he refuses to talk about. Most people think he's quiet and distant. The truth is, Nathan is barely keeping himself together. Melinda tries to love him through all of it, even when he keeps pushing her away. Simon, on the other hand, has spent years hiding feelings he's never been brave enough to confess. As old wounds begin to resurface and painful truths slowly come to light, the lives of all three start changing in ways none of them were prepared for. Some people carry pain silently. Some people learn to heal. And some people become the reason you survive at all. A slow-burn emotional LGBTQ+ story about trauma, love, healing, and finding comfort in the people who refuse to leave.
