Ich rannte. Ich war bereits Schweißgebadet und noch immer hörte ich das trommeln von Pfoten hinter mir. Mittlerweile war es mir egal wohin ich lief. Ich wollte bloß weg von hier, weg von diesem  Pfotengetrommel, weg von diesem Wald. Doch ich hatte mich längst heilos verirrt in den dichten Bäumen. Das Licht kam nur schlecht durch die dichten Zweige, weshalb man nur schlecht erkennen konnte wo genau man eigentlich hinlief oder was einen hinter dem nächsten Busch erwartete.
