This book is about a ten year-old girl who is completely, totally horse-crazy. Her name is Bella, but she doesn't like her name so she is called Elle. One day a new horse comes to the stable. Elle immediately loves the new horse. When the stable announces they are having a contest and the winner gets the horse Elle is determined to win.
