Behind Closed Doors

Emma Lafelle and Paige Bueckers went to highschool together. The two girls didn't mix crowds or share any interests, but they secretly were hooking up all throughout their time at Hopkins. Paige had basketball and Emma was busy keeping up her perfect GPA, so no one knew about them, not even their closest friends. They parted ways when they graduated, with Paige off to UCONN and Emma off to Yale. It's been 3 years, and they haven't spoken.

Fast forward to summer of 2023, Emma gets news that she's qualified for a research internship opportunity at UCONN. She doesn't want to think about seeing Paige. She's always been very academically driven, and she doesn't want to go back to the person she was in highschool and the things she put up with. She doesn't want to relive highschool, and she doesn't want to see Paige again.
