With Black Beards final words, the world enters what is known as the Great Odyssey, in hopes of finding The New World of Dreams and Treasure, Arcadia. 100 years since that date, and Asher (15), finds himself in a bit of trouble landing himself in the Great Odyssey. Asher must now assemble a crew and find various maps by going to Adventure High and fulfilling quests. The task is not a simple one as the world has split itself into 3 extreme dogmas: Anarchy, Judiciary and Monarchy, where all three systems are looking for the same Arcadia. Will Asher and his crew be the first ones to find it, or will it be his sister, Aleqia (18), from the judiciary, be the one and cement her title as the Supreme Chief of Arms, or maybe the powerful monarchy are well on their way to finding Arcadia, or maybe... Just maybe, there's a devious force lurking in the shadows and pulling the strings to achieve, the dastardly, Infinite Void. Who will find Arcadia? Will the Infinite Void be stopped? Will the world ever know balance? All question will be answered to those who are driven enough to take the first steps of the Great Odyssey!

Ren is a quiet teen in a small New Zealand town. He just wants to finish school, avoid the local bullies and maybe tell his best friend how he feels. But one blistering summer day he bursts into flames and emerges as the Sun God's champion: a radiant, female warrior. For generations, the Phoenix's power has passed through the women of his family, so his grandmother is as shocked as he is when it chooses a boy. As Ren struggles to control fire, wings and teleportation, strange phenomena - frozen lakes in summer, earthquakes that seem to think - signal that the world is unraveling. Ancient enemies known as the Shadows of the Eclipse feed on chaos and are awakening. Torn between hiding in his hoodie and facing a destiny he never wanted, Ren must decide who he is, what he will fight for and whether to trust the boy who's always been by his side. This isn't a fairytale. It's messy, queer, and sometimes heartbreaking. But if you're into mythic fantasy with real feelings, and a protagonist who literally sets himself on fire to save the world, jump in. The world's last Phoenix is a boy, and he's just getting started.
