Agent Ace Marquez is the second in command to Director Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. He's a ruthless agent who will do what it takes to get the job done. Nick Fury trusts him with his life, and lower level agents often find themselves aspiring to be as good of an agent as Ace. Despite him being one of the good guys, people can't help but be afraid of him. If his well-built body and height don't intimidate people, it's how broody his face always looks and the fact that he doesn't talk a lot unless he has to. He despises jokes and would rather see the darkness in every corner of the world than see the good aspects. 

	Agent Natasha Romanoff is also well known throughout S.H.I.E.L.D. and throughout the world in general. Being one of the Avengers as well as a level 10 S.H.I.E.L.D agent has its perks. As well trained as the redheaded ex-assassin is, she can't help but be intimidated by Ace Marquez - almost everyone is. Despite her horrifying past, Natasha tends to see the good in people and enjoys making fun of her teammates and friends. 

	When Ace gets assigned to work with the Avengers on a mission to take down HYDRA, the redhead ex-assassin piques an interest in the mysterious agent. Love binds two unsuspecting agents together, and it separates them just the same.
