Dancing Through Pain is about 14 year old Emilie Lian and her friends Max Cay and Lena Kly. Emilie and Lena have been waiting for a chance to get into the Cailfornia National Academy Of Dance ever since Max left to take his scholarship spot for hip-hop. That's why when they hear about an open audition for the Academy they jump. But is the Academy just for dance? Will some of these friends become more than friends?
