Heatwave and Quickshadow have just welcomed their newborn son. They name him Hot shot. However their joy soon turns to worry. Hot shot was born with complex heart defects and needs a lot of care. Hot shot has several surgeries as he grows. He also takes a lot of medicine. He also has been to the hospital that does his care more than once due to a heart event. Hot shot has four friends his age who have the same heart defects. Soon about the time when he will turn five Hot shot's little heart can't take much more and begins to fail and needs a new heart. Hot shot is a brave little heart warrior and ready to face this challenge of waiting for a new heart. Hot shot's friends also need new hearts too. Hot shot is going to be brave and strong. He hopes to get a new heart soon and he isn't going to give up hope at getting one either! (Humanized)
