Between the puff pieces she's assigned, young Cora Mumford can't resist the opportunity to dig into a story about a missing hermit no one even noticed was missing. Until, that is, his estranged daughter appears in town with growing desperation to be reunited with the father she barely knows.

Will Cora be able to track down a man without help from the police? Or will the missing hermit's secrets be more than she can handle?

This is a three-part short story with a new part posted on July 20, 27, and August 3!
