Surah Kahaf Introduction Part 1
Introduction: Surah Kahaf is one of the earliest surah revealed.
Main theme of Surah Al-Kahaf is that Allah will protect you against all the trials. It is a Surah full of stories and every story is a trials.
Surah Kahaf is the 18th Chapter of the Quran. Which is greatly esteemed for its theme and context. 110 verses, each meant to guide people and pull them out of the darkness .
It is begins by introducing the fundamental theme of the surah. Allah revealed the Quran as a guide for humanity.
The Meaning of Kahf:
Al-Kahf means "The Cave"
The Theme of Surah Kahf:
Surah is Divided into four stories
1) The People of Cave
2) The Companion of Two Gardens
3) Musa And Khidr
4) Dhul Qarnayn
The seemingly disparate stories in Surah Al-Kahf all share the underlying theme of Fitnah. Which the chapter explores through various aspect of life.
1) Fitnah of Religion ( story of the people of the Cave)
2) Fitnah of Wealth (Story of thev Man with Two Gardens)
3) Fitnah of Knowledge( Story of Musa and Khidr)
4) Fitnah Of Power ( Dhul Qarnain)
Each of the four stories in Surah Kahf illustrate how religion, wealth, knowledge, and power can lead to Fitnah, and Guides how should believer navigate these challenges.
