This was written on October 30, 2010. It's about my friend, Amanda, who was killed being hit by a pick up truck. Her and her boyfriend had gotten into an argument on the corner of a busy street. Cops don't know what happened, but she either fell into the road, ran out into the traffic, or her boyfriend pushed her. She was only 18, but she had a 2 year old daughter.

Two broken souls in the midst of a crazy world. Two souls running away from their past. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel was cracking, slowly closing in. I Fell in Love with a Bad Boy
CRINGE WARNING! First book I ever wrote on here!! -- "Sometimes the person who you are willing to take a bullet for is the person behind the gun." I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. Coop, or "Slick" as he's know to his mc brothers is macho and rough, smart and loyal, Coop can't understand why the new girl who is suddenly friends with all of his friends, annoys him so much. He tried not to be rude to her, well, he didn't try that hard, and he certainly didn't succeed. But he did get her a restraining order from an abusive ex, so why does she bother him so much? It's annoying as hell that she's got the whole beautiful, smart and funny thing going on, she just needs to stay out of his way. Hazel, has moved back to the town she grew up in, she's next door neighbors with her best friend Lola, and she's met a new group of friends that make her world sweet and fun. Yoga, her job, her new friends and most importantly, her new baby that is the light of her life. Despite the absentee baby daddy, she's going to fill her son's world with all the love, time, attention and security that she missed out on as a young child. Their world is bright and happy, shiny and safe (as far as she's aware) and she will do everything in her power to keep it that way. Her move back to Ventura is the best thing (next to her baby) that's happened to her, ever, so she is not going to let the grumpy, jerk of a club lawyer/club brother get in the way of her own happily ever after.
