After Overwatch arrived and saved the city, Benjamin was left alone and without a parent or guardian. That was until an Omnic Civilian named Hisodan R13 adopted him and took him under his wing. Benjamin was taught Karate and Judo by his new father, as well as science, mathematics, zoology, culinary, etc. After graduating high school and joining the military, Benjamin would eventually find himself in Overwatch, becoming good friends with a multitude of the agents including Torbjorn Lindholm. He was given superhuman strength and the ability to see in infrared by Moria O'Deorian and became a well-known agent in the organization, building a Titanium-Alloy Yautja suit and going under the callsign; "Predator" However, he (like all the other agents, was disbanded after the Petras Act was enabled and Jack Morrison and Gabriel Reyes were presumed dead.
