After Nightmare and Dream's truce, the two gangs lived in peace together. Some finally get together and find love. Everyone was together except for two skeletons. Error and Dream.
Dream having doubts about his feelings and worries that if he were to love someone, they would just use him. Error, not dating anybody since his last relationship, was fine not having anyone. Even though he was tired of third wheeling and seeing everyone else in love, he was fine. But when one night the group all decide to go out to a bar and someone mistreats Dream, Error is quick to jump in. And ever since that night, it was like something switched for the two.
