From taking wickets on the cricket pitch to establishing a sports management institute, ex-Indian Cricketer Nilesh Kulkarni's journey is one inspiration.

When no one in the country thought of sports beyond athletes and games, he dreamt ahead of time. Along with his wife Ms. Rasika Kulkarni(founder of the National School of Events)founded the International Institute of Sports & Management - IISM, the pioneer sports management Institute in India & South Asia.

With a vision to inculcate young minds with ideas & leadership thoughts in sports academia, IISM has guided over 2800 students for 15 years. It exemplifies various aspects of sports studies, creating opportunities for all sports enthusiasts who want to build careers in the sports domain.

Because of his perseverance in Sports academia, IISM has been awarded Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar by the Former President of India, Shri. Ram Nath Kovind ji.
