Everything seems to be normal for everybody in South Park for once. Everything seems to be in the ordinary, school is more bearable, Butters and Kenny's friendship is growing stronger.. 

But this doesn't change the fact that Kenny's home life is shitty. His parents are constantly arguing, and there's no food in the fridge. 

Unable to do anything to get money and shy about asking people at school for a portion of their lunch, Kenny slowly starves and desperation for food kicks in.
