Clyde Donovan hasn't ever really had a great self-image. His mental health was also never very good. But it got worse after his break up with Tolkien. They ended on good terms, and that made it hurt more for clyde. Because he didn't hate Tolkien. He had no reason to. And he was always just one phone call away.
