Aru Shah and The Curse of Kamadeva (DISCONTINUED)
(Aru x Aiden forever :D) (Also, this takes place right after Aru Shah and The City Of Gold.) The first time that the pandavas met Kamadeva, it went well. They returned his bow, and he gave them magical gifts. This time, however, things go sour. Kamadeva curses Aru, saying that she is doomed to fall in love with someone who didn't love her back. (Looks like he learned a few tricks from Aphrodite...) Fortunately... that curse might not be true. Aru's POV- I've always liked Aiden. Forever, and ever, and ever... But now he knows. I just feel SO AWKWARD around him. (I mean like, more than I already do, obviously.) After he kissed me... we both try to forget it ever happened, even if I don't want to. I... I feel like he wants nothing to do with me. Actually, I don't think that kiss changed anything. We still try our best to avoid talking to each other one-on-one. That might not be possible with Kamadeva's curse though... Aiden's POV- I've always thought of Aru as a friend for the past few years, but somewhere along the way... things changed. I started to view her differently. I noticed things that I never did before... The way her hair was always tucked behind her ear, the way that her skin glowed when she was in battle, the way her eyes were filled with such beauty... Why am I noticing them now? Nobody seems to judge her based on who she is. All she was to the world was another rich and famous singer/songwriter. But Aru runs into a particular someone who chooses to look past all her scars and her fame, and she finds the one person who gets where she's coming from. What starts out as something that isn't as fake as they think it is or will be turns into what couldn't be more real. Will they be able to tolerate what others couldn't together? He knew love was a waste of time, because the guy Aiden actually was was someone who nobody cared about. But when one of his friends came up to him and told him that she had found a model for their end-of-year project, he readily accepted, not knowing that this one person would make him change his perspective.
