After the events of Volpina, Ladybug's reputation slowly starts to plummet, causing the crimson clad 'heroine' to grow more bitter, resentful and emotionally unstable.   Feeling responsible for Ladybug's actions, Master Wang Fu, current Guardian of the Miracle Box, entrusts Hiroto, Evelyn and Adrien  with choosing the new future holder of the Ladybug Miraculous and teaching her the ways of being a good hero through using the Bee Miraculous.  

The only worthy candidate is  Christina, who will be taking the mantle of Frelon.

Meanwhile Evelyn reunites with her former friend, Eliza Lacroix, who seems to be attracted to Hiro, despite his dislike for her, while Hiro himself deals with Eric and Martin.

However, a certain bluenette is still determined to win over Adrien, no matter what.
