Lexie Liu: Gidle's Chinese Tigeress

Hailing from China, Lexie Liu has always been immersed by music whether by dancing or learning to play different instruments. Driven by a desire to create music she began posting music online where a Korean agency offers her a chance to compete in Korean talent show. Reluctant, on working in a foreign country, she takes the opportunity and makes her name for her with rapping.

She used her newfound fame to kick start her music career and she would have been content had fate had other plans. She was scouted by Cube Entertainment where she became a trainee for more than a year. There she befriend girls like Yuqi who helped her master Korean and Soyeon who's charisma and talent rivaled her own.

Together as seven they debuted as Gidle: A fresh new take on the girl group trend which emphasizes empowerment and self confidence. Lexie must navigate a foreign world where competition is at all time high.
