Encanto: The Inevitable (AU)
As Casita crumbles it tries it's hardest to save the Madrigals while also helping Mirabel save the miracle. But what if Casita failed to protect her? I don't think I would have the mental capability to actually kill off one of my comfort characters. Remi has always loved the forest, the different sounds, smells, the way she could get lost in it and never have to go home to her non-existent parents. She goes in and out of her life with her best friend everyday just waiting until they're both old enough to leave their small boring town. But one day Remi is attacked, and nearly killed, by a man in the forest. When she wakes up everything's different. She feels something inside her, a power, but she has no idea what happened to her. All she remembers is the man's strange yellow eyes. When three new boys show up at her school, one with yellow eyes, asking her question she gets nervous. Jen says suddenly. "Hmm?" I hum back. "Do you ever wish you could just live in the forest? Away from everyone and everything?" She looks at me. "Free." We stare at each other for a long time. "If we lived in the forest we wouldn't have gummy bears any more." I comment to lighten the mood. She doesn't find it funny. "I'm serious Remi! What if we did run away?" "Jen, we can't just run away. I know your parents are strict but I truly think they just want what's best for you." She says nothing. Mirabel saw the cracks on that fateful night Antonio got his gift but this time she kept it to herself. She knew how important that candle and its miracle was to her family but she also knew how much they depended on it. She was not about to let the candle flicker out but if it did she would be the one to protect her family. Will her family realize they have pushed away Mirabel in time it will they lose her forever? This is a shorter story and the chapters are shorter than most of my other books. I may rewatch encanto at some point and edit this story to be longer but idk. This is based of my Disney's What If...? Bruno the Misunderstanding Soothsayer. It's from Disney's Encanto btw. I am going to rewrite it. Just don't know how long. Edited: From January 20th - 26th, 2022. Almost a week. Plot Summary: This story takes place in Encanto, Columbia. Mirabel Madrigal just turned 5 years old. She was ready to see what gift beyond the magical door. Unfortunately, Mirabel became sad because her door disappears. She did not get a gift. Bruno Madrigal was the misunderstanding soothsayer. He was summoned by his mother. Abuela Alma Madrigal worried about the magic, the candle and the casita. His mother mentioned that Mirabel did not get a gift on her ceremony. Bruno have no idea how that happen. She tasked him to see the future of the candle and the casita. What if Bruno chose to meet Mirabel instead of foreseeing the future? Again, it's a rewritten Encanto what if. Due to popularity since it got out on Disney Plus, I am going to make my Disney what if happened. Note: It's an uncle and niece family relationship.
