Every single teen dreams about being a rockstar. But dreams can be hard to fight for, sometimes quite literally against the world, zombies, robots and more.

Lucia is a normal girl barely surviving as the new girl at Sunrise High, a madhouse where gangs rule, monsters roam, and chaos is part of the daily grind. Lucia meets Anthony, a very much jaded boy who lives at a café who's grown bored of the daily insanity of the life of a Sunrise High student looking for a purpose.

Tanya, a wannabe rockstar sorceress who is hell-bent on dominating the Sunrise High music scene, a very dangerous game. She's got the magic power, the attitude, but no band, no name, and no clue what she's doing.

The musical journey kicks off with fistfights, supernatural showdowns taking the music scene by storm, one song at a time, even if it means battling zombies, witches, cyborgs, freaks of nature and more.

Life at Sunrise High isn't a walk in the park. It's a crowded battleground where the end of the world could be just another day. A zombie apocalypse? Just a normal Tuesday. A dinosaur scoring a goal on the football field? Typical football game. And that girl hijacking the PA system for her daily gossip radio show? That happens, every damn morning.

At Sunrise High is the music scene that stands out where rockstars are forged by fire. Dominated by powerful bands that don't just play about, they are fighters willing to do anything for their rockstar dream to come true.

In this high-octane, pop-punk rollercoaster, Lucia, Tanya, and Anthony must stick together, rock harder than ever, and maybe, just maybe, survive the life at Sunrise High.

Old feuds, new worlds, and a love that will last a lifetime... Ever since her dad mysteriously abandoned her family, life on the Clifton Estate hasn't been all that exciting for 16-year-old Marla True. Her Mum constantly works to make ends meet, which means Marla has to put up with gossipy old Bev keeping an eye on her and noisy little half-sister Ribbon. If that wasn't bad enough, her exam results are in... and they aren't good. But at least she has her friends. Asher, the responsible and strong boy who has known her all her life and Ed, the orphaned rebel who loves to stir up trouble. Then there's her, Marla, stubborn, fiery and just plain lost. Life on the estate is same-old same-old, until the senile World War Two veteran, Mr. Pelham, starts freaking Marla out with his staring and rambling, cryptic messages. Is he trying to warn her? Or hurt her? When the bored trio decide to teach the creepy old man it's rude to scare young girls, they learn far too late just how crucial it is to respect your elders. For his daughter, Bridget, has a power unlike anything they've ever seen before and she uses her deadly craft to send them to a place that will teach them the lesson of their lifetime. Bridget has sent them back in time, all the way to World War Two, throwing them into a secret fight for the survival of all magical folk in the world. Marla soon learns what it really means to be a True, and the power her absent father has kept from her all her life... Marla, Ed and Asher are thrown into a world they and their generation have no comprehension of, a world where love is a relic of a life left behind and your only duty is sacrificing all that you have. These three friends are about to learn about a side of World War Two that never made the history books. ***I can't take credit for the artwork, it's called A BREAK IN REALITY and it's by the AMAZINGLY talented Xenobyte on deviantart. Seriously check his stuff out. I'm in love with that imagination.***

"I see the world and it seems like I see it so differently than most other people. It makes me really angry most of the time. Especially since no one ever listens to me or what I've got to say. I try to express myself in so many different ways and no one sees it. When I sing a song people will only care about how the music sounds or how much I swore. If I paint, people will see the picture but not the meaning. It seems so obvious to me but everyone just seems to... close their eyes. Or at least shut off their brain. As if I see things they don't. But when they don't listen, how can I communicate that to them? It's so frustrating." Allie is a high school student and has big plans to make the world a better place. But her own head is pitting against her, throwing rocks in her path on a daily basis. Everything seems to be great for a while but what happens when her world suddenly comes crashing down around her? Can she ever recover? A coming-of-age story that deals with mental ilnesses, grief, first loves and family, briefly taps into the subject of religion and will likely enrapture you. Trigger warning: mental illnesses, self harm, death, dealing with grief, mentions of guns and gun control, mentions of cults, mentions of homophobia, dissociation. Names of bands, band members and song titles have been changed but at this point I want to credit mainly Palaye Royale, the band 'Homesick Soldiers' that is mentioned throughout is heavily based off them, but I'm sure if you're familiar with them you would have been able to tell that :)

This book is also just a draft so sorry if there are any mistakes along the way. Everything in this book is from my imagination and is also copyrighted Book 1 of the Elemental series. Can be read as a stand-alone with some slight cliff hangers that connect it to the second book which takes place two months after this book. There will be the same and new characters but will have new problems that will play out between the second and third books.
