And in the middle of this confusion, Ichigo is given a direct order: He must marry his friend and comrade Rukia Kuchiki. When it comes to writing fan fictions, I feel that it should be done for at least one of four reasons: 1. You love the source material and are paying homage to it, 2. There is something that you wish to explore even further within the canon, usually a "what if" question, 3. You have an original story that you want to push forward, and finally 4. There is something you perceive to be wrong with the story and you are correcting it. For me, writing this story hits all four points.
