Ardent Friend has already witnessed the Fall. The cities of Earth torn apart and those that remain forced to hide in dungeons for safety. What started as a joyous merging of worlds ended in nightmares as Rift Walkers, the enemies of all life, ravaged all they could find. The bone white abominations picked the world apart and at the end of it all, Ardent dies failing to find the hope to turn things around.
When his eyes open however, Ardent discovers he has been sent back to a time before the Fall. With a second chance, Ardent swears to make things right, to prepare the world before it becomes too late. To do that, he must become stronger and head back to the reality where everything began. Back to the time when the world of Areithia was all just a game.
