In a world where espionage and extrasensory powers collide, Saiki Kusuo and his little sister Anya Saiki are adopted by an enigmatic psychiatrist doing it for the sake of the mission, Loid Forger, whose secret identity is that of Agent Twilight. The trio are soon joined by their aloof yet viciously skilled mother, Yor Briar, whose secret identity is the Assassin known as 'The Thorn Princess'.

Did I mention Kusuo and Anya are also a psychic-telepath duo? Hijinks ensue as all four try to keep their alter-egos hidden from one another, a disastrous yet loving family bound together by their shared secrets, in an operation to prevent war from breaking out between East and West!
