The only thing Aki Hoshino anticipated was the day she would finally be released from pro hero Katsuki Bakugo. But leaving him behind proved to be easier said than done, as his personal assistant she found herself playing a risky game with the man she claimed to loathe. For as long as she could remember, she had solemnly clung to her hatred for him. However, the days of resentment might be coming to an end as she was forced to work alongside him on a mission that was far more interconnected with Aki's past than she'd like to admit. Can she face the guilt that has been haunting the depths of her soul, along with other yet to be discovered stirring feelings?

"The straight punch you gave him. It wasn't terrible." She wondered how he noticed that, given that his eyes were on her for the entirety of his stay.

"I suppose my daydreams have increasingly risen since all the hours we spent so lovingly together."

"Good to know that you're fantasizing about me." He grinned.

"It's violent," she hissed, insulted.

"I like it that way," he simply stated.

That was not what she meant at all.
