On December 16, 1773, the colonists were sick of the British rule. So late at night, they went to the Boston Harbor,  boarded the 3 ships, and dumped the tea into the water. This event, commonly known as "The Boston Tea Party," led to the fight for independence in America.

The colonists who participated in this event were all white americans. But- what if they weren't?

A different side of the same story, read about a young slave named Darcaue, who will show readers what it might have been like to be apart of such a historic event- as a black man.

**** I wrote this book in 2014 as a Senior in High School. I'm sure it's full of grammatical and spelling errors as well as potholes. That said, some day I hope to come back and fully edit it, but as of now, read at your own risk!!!***** Lexington is fresh out of juvie. She was taken away for a crime committed only in self-defense and now she's back and ready to tackle a whole new struggle. High school. What she quickly figures out though is that she'd rather go back to her cell, atleast she had a friend there and she understood how things worked. In school, everything is different. She's pushed to the bottom of the food chain and suddenly becomes the butt of everyone's jokes. Lex is picked on for not only her different ethnicity, but having a medical disability she has no control over as well. When the guy that everyone fears suddenly takes an intrest in her, Lexington is thrown for a whole new loop as she tries to understand what's happening. Add in a cousin she never knew she had, two younger siblings, a new step dad, and a relative who wants her dead? Lexington is in for one intresting adventure.

He makes sure that she leaves the house feeling worthless to her alpha mate. Little does he know she's got a thing for revenge and tends to go too far. How far will she take the disrespect and lack of feeling loved? Is he always the bad guy ? Show light of The journey of a person of color in finding self love when you're not the definition of today's beauty standard. This book follows an African American boy as he wonders over into the white community something not usually done. Considering that during the year 1830's New York was severely divided into pocket communities helping keep the oppressed oppressed, since they would live in cramped apartment buildings with other families while the rich lived in manors. While the immigrants worked in factories the rich turned towards investments. Matthews~ (African American) 6 years old and on the street. I watch the other children get handed bread. I watch them get taken into the homes made for children like us. My clothes are tattered and torn. I go to bed underneath boxes or in garbage cans to stay warm. Annabelle~ 20 years old, the daughter of a noble getting ready for another social event. I walk with the other women who are ahead of me. They are giggling and talking about the recent engagements, the recent social gatherings, the recent investments that potential suitors have made, yet I am simply not interested. I would rather get a job. I want to get down and dirty. Daniel~ 21 years old, a nobleman that owns quite a few acres of land for farming. Father finally died. Leaving the estate to me. I will now be able to rent out the land instead of having father put outrageous buying prices on the damn property. No one can afford them in today's day in age. Not to mention that once the property is divided up into the sectors with their own little cottages we could have our own little self-sufficient economy if I play my cards right.
