CRINGE WARNING! First book I ever wrote on here!! -- "Sometimes the person who you are willing to take a bullet for is the person behind the gun." I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. He was able to look through my mask, he saw the cracks, and tried to fix the broken girl that hid away deep inside the girl who only wanted to be seen as 'fine'. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy. As a result of the tragic death of her father; Heaven Foster's life has mouldered into a exasperating cycle of moving from one home to another. Consequently, not staying in a house for more than a year means having to move schools more times than a typical seventeen year old girl should. Heaven is used to blending in with the crowd, so that she can be unnoticed by people, but being unnoticed while you're the new student of Lakeswood high school is not that easy. Let's just say that stumbling across a certain group of bad boys enumerates to the trouble, including crashing- literally into the most feared one of them all. Dominant. Menacing. Mysterious. Unpredictable. Cold. Blake Martinez. ******************************************************** MUST READ Just now I have come onto this app again to check it out, and I am overwhelmed with all your kind messages and wishes for me to update! I began writing this book when I was very young and only a couple years later, I had stumbled across this app again and decided to look at what I created. In my spare time, i decided to edit as much as I could and began to write new chapters. Writing was a little hobby of mine, something that I didn't take seriously as I only wrote for fun. I definitely didn't think that my book would get this many readers!! Thank you to all of you who genuinely took time to read my book. I deeply apologise for keeping you all waiting, and left wondering if I was going ahead with this story or not. Sadly, to all of my readers who was looking forward to reading more of my story. I am sorry to say that I will not be working on this book anymore. Perhaps in the later future Heaven and Blake will make an epic return! However, as of now, their love story remains how it is. Thank you!

On The Edge Of Forever

31 parts Complete

What ties us to the Earth? What is life after death? Why do we continue to live in a world full of broken promises and empty smiles? Jace Abney has been wondering this for all of his life. Now he's older, almost 35, with a wife and two beautiful children and an amazing job as a doctor. Yet, even through all of this, he still has not found the happiness he has been looking for since he was a small child. His life still holds an inescapable void, slowly gnawing at the sanity in his mind. Jace has been visiting a cliff for the past week. His intentions to jump over weigh his sanity in the beginning, but in the end the roles are switched. He curses at his self and ventures back home, locking away his thoughts for what he feels will be forever. Yet, the very next day he repeats his cycle again. On the opposite end of the United States, a teenager named Arron asks himself the same questions. Yet, because of his age, no one takes him seriously. "You're still young," they tell him, "It gets better." Arron can't see anything getting better though, and so he takes matters into his own hands. In the middle of the night, he grabs what little he has and flees. Arron isn't sure where to go or what to do, but he's doing something. Will Jace find what he's looking for? Will he jump or never visit the cliff again? Will Arron get hurt? What will become of him? To find out, continue reading.
