After his adventures at Tenbi Academy, as positive as they may have turned out to be in the end, Keiji Hiryu was somewhat relieved that Azazel's research into the Multiverse had been unanimously shut down, with the many Faction Leaders and his wives having no interest in him ending up lost in another dimension by mistake.

However, when an unexpected rebellion across the Underworld and a fight with one of the traitors causes a terrible accident with the closed-down portal machine, the injured and now completely cut-off from his Universe delinquent dragon finds himself in a new and dangerous world, one where damned souls become monsters known as Hollows and strong spirits take up swords as 'Shinigamis' to protect the innocent ghosts and the balance of the Living World and the Afterlife. At the same time, a conspiracy of over a hundred years look in the background, threatening to destroy all balance...
