This Percy Jackson playoff describes the life of two best friends living at Camp Half-Blood. Amaya, a rebellious tree nymph fighting for nymph rights against the Cloven Council, and Alex, a spunky daughter of Apollo with an affinity for all things black, broadway musicals, and her not so secret admirer, Nate.
When the Council gives Amaya a chance to symbolize all nymph abilities on a quest to bring a suspicious demigod back to camp, she and Alex set on their way to Wake Forest, North Carolina. They also bring along shy, dainty Lydia, a daughter of Demeter with an immense amount of flower power- power she can't control.
Will Amaya earn the equality she's been fighting for? Will Alex learn to be herself and face her inner demons? Will Lydia learn to control her powers and accept them as who she is?
