This Percy Jackson playoff describes the life of two best friends living at Camp Half-Blood. Amaya, a rebellious tree nymph fighting for nymph rights against the Cloven Council, and Alex, a spunky daughter of Apollo with an affinity for all things black, broadway musicals, and her not so secret admirer, Nate. 

When the Council gives Amaya a chance to symbolize all nymph abilities on a quest to bring a suspicious demigod back to camp, she and Alex set on their way to Wake Forest, North Carolina. Along the way with the help of Laelap and a runaway Titan, Rostris comes along life-threatening challenges like being close to Ekho but then missing her, dealing with Hera, Zeus's wife, that is trying to kill Ekho out of jealousy because Zeus likes to consort with nymphs and will stop at nothing to do it, and also being targeted by Ekho's daughter Lynx, who can make spells and will stop at nothing to kill Rostris. But what the real test is that is presented to Rostris is trust. Trusting herself and others because trust can go a long way.
