When the world was burnt by the sun some groups of people were ready and build special compounds called Bases. They set bases up all over the globe and waited for the fire of the sun. When it came they hadn't anticipated the extent of solar power. Their power sources were ruined and they knew that they wouldn't survive long without them. Some people left to take their chances in the new wild but those who were left spent hours pondering solutions as the power dwindled and the life-force faded. Only when the people who were left out to face the sun found the bases did they find a solution. The outsiders were deranged and barely human, changed by the radiation of the sun, they were taken into the bases and were sedated and hooked up to the power source. (Completed) Rhent Thomas didn't expect anything to go wrong. He signed up for the Departure. A select few people with special abilities called gifts were chosen to see if life on a small planet just outside of Mars was habitable. Survivable. But the ship he was on overshot and crashlanded on Nexanveer. A moon just out the far side of Jupiter. Now he and the few other who have woken up must work together to survive and get off of this planet. Or live here. There was more people, there's someone, or something else, on this moon, this planet. And it wants them gone, or dead. Either way it's obvious Rhent and his group aren't welcome here. And they all have to use their gifts to survive and work together. If only Rhent remembered his gift, and if only they all worked together. If only they could get off Nexanveer. But the harder they fight, and the further they go it seems, they'll never get out alive.
