Why was six afraid of seven? Because seven eight nine! Seven ate nine. We've all heard that joke before.. But what if we took that, and made it an actual horror novel?

A detective with the code name Six has only one goal in mind- revenge on a cannibalistic serial killer named Seven. Six's mom and dad had been killed by the deranged murderer during his childhood. It's something he can never forgive. He's lived life on the streets since the incident, and only now has he managed to get a measly one room apartment with his small wage.

Seven's nickname was derived from the seven things always seen in his victims: seemingly content in life, has children, is an adult, married, is rich or at least has more money than average people do, has a seemingly kind demeanor and finally.. is attractive. He really hates attractive people, for some reason.

Six chose his name based off of Seven. Seven eight nine, a well known pun and a fitting description for them- to be honest.
