Hidden Courtship

In the kingdom of Scintilly where love is bound by tradition and expectation, a young thief roams through the streets, snatching whatever he can, to provide for his siblings.

At the same time, a Prince leads a life of privilege and duty. Yet, his life is upended when he is suddenly forced into an unwanted engagement with the neighboring kingdom's Princess.

To find tranquility and clear his mind from the loathsome predicament, the Prince chooses to go on a walk into Spittle Town. A bustling village in which, in the midst of his peaceful stroll, he catches a glimpse of a mysterious hooded smuggler, swiping a loaf of bread from a market stall.

When two souls from separate societies meet and embark on a journey of self-discovery and secrecy, will their close friendship be able to forge a path to a love that transcends class and convention, or will their stolen moments remain lost in the shadows forever?

I have yet to decide if this story will contain smut but I am certain that there will be fluff.

My take on the classic prince-falls-for-commoner trope. It is my first story so I'll try my best to follow through with writing and updating. 🤗
