Snowdrop ➳ A Hunger Games Story {Wattys 2019}
NOTE: This is a re-write of the original book, however I did not want to simply edit the existing chapters since it might not qualify for the Wattys, and deleting chapters gets rid of the reads for that particular chapter. "And now we honour our fiftieth anniversary. As a reminder that two rebels died for each Capitol citizen, every district will be required to send twice as many tributes." Melia Cressview. Ember Cressview. Bailey Birling. Haymitch Abernathy. All from District 12. All from the Seam. All in the Hunger Games. Twenty-five years before Katniss Everdeen ever sets foot in the arena, there is another group from District 12 who grows in the hearts of those in the Capitol. Each comes with skills and attributes that will help or harm them in the arena, and each has one thing they are fighting for. Whether they live or die, these will be the biggest Games yet.Concluída
Hunger Games: The Second Quarter Quell - The Story of Haymitch Abernathy
When Haymitch Abernathy is reaped for the 50th Hunger Games, a special twist is added in celebration of the second Quarter Quell - an event which occurs every 25 years to 'keep the importance of the games fresh for the new generations.' And this time around, there is a 100% better arena, 100% more dangers, and 100% more tributes. MOVING ON
The war is over. Katniss, Peeta, and Haymitch have returned to Twelve. Katniss is getting over her depression and other issues, but can she learn to love and care again? Does she have feelings for Peeta? To answer these questions for herself and others, she’ll have to trust herself, Peeta, and maybe even the crude, sarcastic Haymitch. Will moving on from the past really be that hard? Read Erica110598’s new fanfiction “Moving On” to find out!Concluída
The Runaways
What if Katniss and her family, Gale and his family, and Peeta and his brother ran away from District Twelve after the Victory Tour? For this fic to be plausible, we need to assume: Katniss is 'selfish' enough to choose her own safety over that of other people (which she isn't because she's awesome). Gale doesn't know about the uprising in 8. Peeta tried to get his family to come too but only got his brother to agree, and he is okay with this. Haymitch doesn't do anything to stop them. President Snow has not electrified the fence (but let's assume he did electrify it that one time) and has no cameras in the woods. So if we can accept all of this, let's do it!Concluída
Happy Hunger Games, Haymitch.
Au- Katniss and Peeta didn't survive the 74th games, and the female tribute is reaped as usual. Haymitch grows to feel like a father to the girl, and decides to protect her life... No matter what it takes.Concluída
